This aluminium slat fencing project in Sorrento was built to finish off an open front boundary using the existing brick pillars. The goal was to add privacy and define the space properly, without closing it in or blocking airflow.
Existing Brick Pillars with Open Gaps
The home already had brick pillars along the frontage, but the sections in between were open. That left a clear line of sight into the property and made the whole front feel a bit unfinished.
Aluminium Slat Infill Panels
We installed custom aluminium slat infill panels using 100mm slats with a 10mm gap. The wider profile works well across a full frontage like this - fewer lines, cleaner look, and it doesn’t feel overdone.
